Cheree Banks-Smith

About Me

Cheree offers a uniquely diverse understanding of the industry after growing from Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager, Senior Property Manager to now, Head of the Department. Cheree has held positions across the Pilbara, Tasmania, Perth City and Waroona, before settling into her current place in Bunbury. 

Prior to entering the property industry in 2004, Cheree was the co-owner and operator of an earthmoving company where she completed all things administration for 12 years. Alongside this, Cheree completed a 4-year Tafe course in Professional Cake Decorating, running a home business making traditional wedding and celebration cakes for 5 years. Cheree’s role now largely involves managing her portfolio of Residential Properties as a Senior Property Manager, as well as, advising and assisting fellow Property Manager’s within the team. Notably, in 2011 Cheree won Property Manager of the Quater and Runner up Property Manager of the year. 

Cheree’s approach to training and personal development attributes to her high-class level of service. She describes that her fun-loving personality doesn’t hinder the seriousness she places on her role. Cheree is able to handle issues in a positive and efficient manner by developing strong relationships with tenants, whilst upholding firm expectations. She describes building rewarding relationships with owners and tenants as one of the best aspects of her role. Cheree welcomes challenges and embraces the diversity of her day-to-day tasks. 

In her spare time, Cheree enjoys her precious time with her family. When she isn’t spending time with her husband, children or grandchildren, she loves gardening, yoga, cooking, fishing and listening to music.
