RMA Assisting Local Communities
In November 2018, the RMA Joondalup and Port Kennedy Branches became proud sponsors of the REIWA’s Community REInvest program and as part of the program, the team have pledged to become more active members of the community, committed to supporting the well-being, growth and development of the state.
Lisa Welch, Business Development Manager at RMA Joondalup explains why they chose to assist this worthy cause.
“When REIWA presented their Community REInvest Program at the CONNECT Conference in November, our team jumped at the chance to be involved,” said Lisa.
The first appeal the team will be involved in is the Christmas Appeal for the WA Salvation Army.
“Helping those in need puts things into perspective. There are so many people who are experiencing financial hardship at the moment, which can often be heightened during the Christmas period.
Engaging in the REIWA Community REInvest Program gives us the opportunity to connect to our community and hopefully make it a better place. What could be more rewarding than seeing a child smile at Christmas time – that’s what it’s all about,” said Lisa.
From Monday 19 November – Thursday 13 December 2018 RMA Joondalup will be a designated collection point for the appeal. The public are asked to donate a collection of tinned foods, meal bases such as pasta or rice and additional toiletry items for those in need.
If you wish to donate to the appeal, please drop your donations to either:
Unit 4, 80 Grand Boulevard, Joondalup WA or
397 Warnbro Sound Avenue, Port Kennedy WA
between the hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm prior to Thursday 13 December.
Stay tuned to hear more about the teams involvement in the Community REInvest Program.
